How to get Involved
The Kishwaukee Family YMCA
is a not-for profit, charitable, community-based organization
committed to helping all people grow in spirit, mind and body,
regardless of financial circumstances. The Y does not turn anyone
away due to an inability to pay, and it depends on the generosity
of members and friends to make this possible. Donations to our
Strong Kids Annual Campaign along with support from the Kishwaukee
United Way, enable us to continue to provide memberships and
programs to those in need in our community. YMCA Programs strengthen
self-confidence, socialization and character development. By
making these vital programs available to all people, we strengthen
our community. We truly build strong kids and strong families
and by doing so build a strong community!
LOCAL IMPACT OF OPEN WINDOWS

“...My son, who is 13 years old, is more aware of how beneficial it is to stay physically active and enjoys working out with his friends. ….The Y is a good to have because it offers a safe and healthy environment to the youth. ...Without financial help this would be impossible….”
“I would like to thank you for allowing my children and I the opportunity of joining...My children and I are learning to swim...The children enjoy Kids Zone and playing with other children….We get to spend great quality time together.” |
